The Annual General Meeting 2026 of the Myanmar Tourism Human Resources Development Association (MTHRDA) was successfully held on 27 August 2026 at UMFCCI (Mingalar Hall) in Yangon, Myanmar.

The Annual General Meeting 2026 of the Myanmar Tourism Human Resources Development Association (MTHRDA) was successfully held on 27 August 2026 at UMFCCI (Mingalar Hall) in Yangon, Myanmar.

During the event, relevant officials delivered opening and welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation on the Association’s annual activities and achievements, the introduction of Executive Committee members, the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs), and recognition of organisations that supported and contributed to the Association’s activities.

In addition, MTHRDA members and representatives from the tourism industry exchanged views and discussed matters related to the development of the sector. A networking session was also organised to strengthen connections and encourage greater collaboration among participants.

MTHRDA remains committed to contributing to the sustainable development of Myanmar’s tourism and hospitality industry, enhancing the knowledge and skills of human resources, and promoting high-quality service standards. To achieve these goals, the Association will continue to work closely with relevant government departments, sister associations, educational institutions, and stakeholders from across the industry.
